Every week the CU offers a free lunch to everyone on campus and a short talk on a tough apologetics issue. The lunchbar runs from 12noon-1pm in the Chaplaincy with people meeting at 11am to set up and pray. Term 3 Week 1 (24th April) - "What's so good about Good Friday? Did Jesus really rise from the dead?" - Tom Price Week 2 (1st May) - "Can we trust the reliability of the Bible?" - Bob Telford Week 3 (8th May) - "Aren't all Christians hypocrites?" - Ivor Cooper Week 4 (15th May) - "If God is so powerful, why doesn't He stop drought and famine in Africa?" - John Newton Webb Week 5 (22nd May) - "I've got exams! How is there room for God in my life?" - Andrew Taylor Week 10 (26th June) - "Is God really interested in a relationship with me?" - Nick Howard |
